● Lea Salonga
Maria Lea Carmen Imutan Salonga OL, known professionally as Lea Salonga, is a
Filipina singer, actress, producer, and columnist. Dubbed the "Pride of the Philippines",
she is best known for her roles in musical theatre, for supplying the singing voices of two
Disney Princesses (Jasmine and Mulan), and as a recording artist and television
performer. Lea Salonga is significant in our society since she is strongly involved in
supporting social and environmental causes. She has performed in a number of
fund-raising concerts and supported a number of local and international charities, such
as the World Vision Organization and the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.

Lino Brocka is widely regarded as one of the most influential and significant
filmmakers in the history of Philippine cinema. He co-founded the organization
Concerned Artists of the Philippines (CAP), dedicated to helping artists address issues
confronting the country, and the Free the Artist Movement. Catalino Ortiz Brocka was a
Filipino film director. He is widely regarded as one of the most influential and
significant filmmakers in the history of Philippine cinema. He was a director and writer,
known for Dirty Affair (1990), Bayan Ko (1984), and Above Everything Else (1991). He
died on 22 May 1991 in Quezon City, Philippines.
ARCHITECTURE
Ildefonso Paez Santos Jr., popularly known simply as "IP Santos", was a Filipino
architect who was known for being the "Father of Philippine Landscape Architecture."
He was recognized as a National Artist of the Philippines in the field of Architecture in
2006. He was a graduate of the University of Sto. Tomas and the University of Southern
California, his works include the landscaping of the Cultural Center of the Philippines,
Manila Hotel, Nayong Pilipino, Paco Park, and Rizal Park, among others. He was
bestowed with the title of "national artist" for his outstanding achievement in
architecture and allied arts on June 9, 2006. Among the locations that comprise IP
Santos' body of work are the landscaping of: the Cultural Center of the Philippines
Complex. Makati Commercial Center.
