Joining related Questions


1) I have got a Joining letter that states that I must report to the Joining location for the purpose of
joining, does this mean that I have to physically report to office?
A: Yes, you need to physically report to the office for the joining.

2) What should I do If I need to reschedule my joining?
A: You can write to xplore.support@tcs.com (with reason and supporting documents) and update
your joining status in the joining confirmation survey. Please be assured that you will soon get
another date of joining.

3) I have completed all my exams, but the results are not declared yet, can I join?

A) Yes, you can join without the results being published. Please submit a Course Completion
Certificate / Bonafide Letter

4) My course/examinations are not yet completed, can I join?
A. No, you should request for a reschedule if exams/course not completed. You can write to
xplore.support@tcs.com (with reason and supporting documents) and update your joining
status in the joining confirmation survey. Please be assured that you will get another date
of joining once your exams are completed.

5) Where should I upload the Undertaking, Service Agreement, Onboarding Forms (Form 2, Form F,
Form 9) & signed copy of Offer letter

copy of Offer letter in the ION Course batch: https://www.tcs.com/careers/xplore

6) I am not able to get an NSR e-Card as I do not have POS in my hometown, and I am not able to
travel for the same. What can I do?

A) You can complete the online Registration and upload the Acknowledgement slip

7) If I reschedule, will my location change?


A) Your location will not change with rescheduling.

8) Will I get a change of location if I request for one?


A) No, Location is mapped according to the business requirements of the organization and cannot
be changed
9) What is the format of course completion letter (For Exams Completed candidates)?

Course Completion Certificate/ Email (from official college email ID of Principal/Director, Controller
of Examinations or Head of Placement Office - TPO) should be submitted by those candidates’ who
have attempted all exams and are awaiting the results
Course Completion Certificate should contain:
1. The name and roll number of the candidate.
2. That all exams (including Viva, Labs, Supplementary/Pending backlogs) have been
attempted
3. Percentage or CGPA till whichever semester the results have been declared
4. Expected approx. date of result publication of all pending results
5. All backlog details to be mentioned (If result pending)

Important: A filled up and signed addendum (provided along with the welcome mail) should be
merged and submitted along with the above Course Completion certificate, if all marksheets,
including the 8th semester, are not uploaded

For Exams Pending candidates:

If exams are pending, you are requested to reschedule your date of joining by emailing
xplore.support@tcs.com
