multiple heavy industrial, energy and construction sectors across the UK.

About the HSE Trainer role:

Based in Doncaster, you will become an integral part of the team, providing Health and Safety
training support at our head office, as well across multiple exciting construction projects nationwide.

A key part of the role will require you to deliver imperative Health and Safety training courses whilst
providing a market-leading level of customer service.

Essential responsibilities and requirements of the HSE Trainer role:


• To drive the continuous improvement of operational Health and Safety behaviour and
performance throughout the business and motivate our new and existing consultants to
deliver solutions so everyone goes home healthy and safe.
• Provide an exceptional level of coaching, guidance, and advice to both our consultants and
Partners on all matters of Health and Safety.
• Extensive working knowledge of up-to-date Health and Safety policies and legislation.
• Regular travel to various sites to deliver training courses on behalf of our partners.
• Lead engaging safety training courses, empowering learners with the knowledge and
confidence to handle challenging situations safely and successfully.
• Demonstrable experience and track record working within an HSE environment (preferably
in a construction / renewable energy setting).
• Qualified to NEBOSH General Certificate level as a minimum.
• Experienced in Microsoft suite: PowerPoint, Excel and Word; and a familiarity in using online
learning management systems (LMS) would be beneficial.
• Whilst this is an office-based role, there will be the regular requirement to mobilise onto
construction sites around the UK; a willingness to travel and a valid driver’s licence are
therefore required.

Desirable experience required to perform in this HSE Trainer role:


• Experience in leading Working at Height, Confined Spaces, Manual Handling and Abrasive
Wheels training courses.
• Relevant trainer’s qualification, i.e., Level 3 IOSH Train the Trainer / Level 3 Award in
Education and Training (PTLLS), or the desire to become qualified.
• CITB Health and Safety Awareness qualified.
• Any additional relevant professional accreditation from a recognised body within the
construction / civil engineering industries.

Benefits of this HSE Trainer role:


• Salary £28,000 – £32,000, dependant on qualification and experience.
