The meeting was presided over by Fr. Joseph Oliakattil and started with a prayer.
Binujith Sebastian Zonal Secretary submitted the report of the 8 th meeting and Binoy
Jose submitted the financial report.
All mass centre secretaries as well as members of the Phibsborough and Blackrock
committees attended the zonal committee meeting, when they proposed names for
various roles for the two Lenten retreats. The combined meeting decided that the
refreshment for the retreat would be ‘Kanji and Payar’.
The committee stated that all mass centres' voluntary annual contributions needed to
be gathered by February. The trustees must be knowledgeable of and capable of
presenting the zonal financial report to their respected mass centres' commitee
meeting.
The prizes for the gloria competition will be distributed at the 'All Ireland Biblia Grand
Finale 2024'.
On the 40th Friday of lent (March 22nd), Way of the Cross in Bray Head will
commence at 5pm sharp, from the Bray Head car park
Following the discussion, the committee decided to hold the first confession for all
first-time holy communicants at the zonal level for all mass centres; the venue will be
decided later
As soon as possible, church WhatsApp groups must share the Vibhoothi Thirunnal
mass timings from all mass centres.

REPORT OF THE 9th MEETING OF
SYRO MALABAR ZONAL COORDINATION COUNCIL DUBLIN (2023-24)
ON 06 FEBRUARY 2024 AT 19.15HRS AT RIALTO
Bible Kalolsum 2024 will be held on September 28th in Kilnamanagh Hall, Tallaght.
The Committee nominated Jincy Jiji, Jose Chacko and Thomson Thomas as
coordinators for the event.
The funds collected for Awake Ireland 2024 were not enough to meet the expenses.
The committee decided to give their share (10 percent) of the raffle tickets sold to
meet the expenditure of Awake Ireland back to sabhayogum to cover the costs of
Awake Ireland 2024 and the band "Genesis'" inauguration.
Fr Joesph requested that each mass centre give €20 per participants that attended
awake Ireland 2024 to Sabhayogum from their SMYM fund
The committee discussed the need for masking PMS more user friendly, it was
suggested that each pious association has its own pop up, to make PMS mor
accessible
It was decided at the previous committee that kudambasgaum will be held at crokagh
park ,however, we did not get a reply even after submitting all the details
