What is the step 1?

First step, you have to identify or to know what is


being asked in the problem. And to be able to
answer what is asked in the problem your word
clue is to identify WH questions these are how
many or how much. -Step 2: Know what the given facts are.

What is Step 2?
Second step, our clue in identifying the given
facts these are all numbers given in the problem. -Step 3: Know what operation to be used.

What is step 3?
Third step is to identify what the operation used
in the problem. In this lesson we are dealing with
solving problem involving subtraction, so our
operation is subtraction. -Step 4: Know what is the number sentence.

What is step 4?
Fourth step is to formulate what is the number
sentence, you have to write a number sentence. In
writing the number sentence we use the given
numbers and the operation. For example, we have
10 – 5 = N, we used N since we do not know yet
the answer. N represents a number. -Step 5: Write the complete answer.

What is step 5?
For the last step, you have to solve or answer the
number sentence, then write the complete answer.

Therefore, Nina’s change is ₱3.00.
