How about the multiplier? Mark: 4 is the multiplier ma'am which is the
number being multiply in multiplicant
What about the 12 number here what do you
called it. Angel: The 12 number ma'am is the so called
Product.
So this two the multiplicant and multiplier is
called factors and the answer when we multiply
this two is we called Product.
Now that you are ready had reviewed the parts
of the multiplication, you are now ready to
start a lesson.

1. To multiply integers with unlike signs,
multiply their absolute values. Attach the
negative sign to the result.

Ok let us have an example

Chorus: 4 ma'am
-4x-1= 4

-4 multiply by -1 first find their

absolute values and we get 4 and 1 Positive maam

respectively. Find their product, 4 and
since both negative sign the answer should be
positive. So -4x-1 is equal to positive 4.

And note this as you have notice the product of

two integers with same sign is always a positive Yes ma'am

you 3 minutes to do the task and 2 minutes to
each to present your output
