RBI Unveils Draft Guidelines on Climate Risk Disclosures for Financial

  Reserve Bank of India (RBI) released draft guidelines outlining a
disclosure framework for climate-related financial risks applicable to
various regulated entities (REs).
 भारतीय ररजवड बैंक (आरबीआई) ने नवनभन्न नवननयनमत संस्थाओं (आरई) पर लागू
जलवायु संबंधी नवत्तीय जोखिमों के नलए एक प्रकटीकरण ढांचे की रूपरे िा तै यार करते
हुए मस दा नदशाननदे श जारी नकए।
 The draft guidelines are set to apply to a wide range of REs, including:
Scheduled commercial banks, Tier IV primary urban co-operative banks
(UCBs), Foreign banks operating in India, All Indian financial institutions
(AIFIs), Top and upper layer non-banking financial companies (NBFCs).
 मस दा नदशाननदे श आरई की एक नवस्तृत श्ृंिला पर लागू करने के नलए ननधाडररत हैं,
नजनमें शानमल हैं : अनुसूनचत वानणखज्यक बैंक, नटयर IV प्राथनमक शहरी सहकारी बैंक
(यूसीबी), भारत में कायडरत नवदे शी बैंक, सभी भारतीय नवत्तीय संस्थान (एआईएफआई),
शीर्ड और ऊपरी परत गै र-बैंनकंग नवत्तीय कंपननयां (एनबीएफसी)।
 The current guidelines mandate REs to disclose information relating to
the banks’ ability to both identify and manage climate-related financial
risks and opportunities in their credit portfolio.
 वतड मान नदशाननदे श आरई को अपने क्रेनर्ट पोटड फोनलयो में जलवायु-संबंधी नवत्तीय
जोखिमों और अवसरों की पहचान करने और प्रबंधन करने की बैंकों की क्षमता से
संबंनधत जानकारी का िुलासा करने के नलए बाध्य करते हैं ।
 The disclosures by REs are expected to cover four thematic pillars:
governance, strategy, risk management, metrics, and targets, aligning
with the global framework of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial
Disclosures (TCFD).
 आरई द्वारा नकए गए िुलासे में चार नवर्यगत स्तं भों को शानमल करने की उम्मीद है :
शासन, रणनीनत, जोखिम प्रबंधन, मेनटि क्स और लक्ष्य, जो जलवायु-संबंनधत नवत्तीय
प्रकटीकरण (टीसीएफर्ी) पर टास्क फोसड के वैनिक ढांचे के साथ संरेखित हैं ।
 Aligning with the NGFS guidelines and those of other jurisdictions like
Europe, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Australia, the RBI’s requirements
encompass measurement and disclosures for Scope 1, Scope 2, and
Scope 3 GHG risks.
 एनजीएफएस नदशाननदे शों और यूरोप, हांगकांग, नसंगापु र और ऑस्ट्िे नलया जैसे अन्य
न्यायक्षेत्रों के साथ संरेखित करते हुए, आरबीआई की आवश्यकताओं में स्कोप 1, स्कोप
2 और स्कोप 3 जीएचजी जोखिमों के नलए माप और प्रकटीकरण शानमल हैं ।

 3F Oil Palm has invested Rs 100 crore in the region, with plans to invest

 Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has said the launch of Indiramma
housing scheme was further testament to the Congress government’s
commitment to the welfare of poor and its unwavering resolve to usher
in Indiramma Rajyam.
 मु ख्यमं त्री ए. रे वं त रे ड्डी ने कहा है नक इं नदराम्मा आवास योजना का शु भारं भ गरीबों के

 As many as 4.50 lakh houses have been sanctioned with an outlay of

करोड़ रुपये की लागत से 4.50 लाि घरों को मंजूरी दी गई है ।
 Sanction of ₹5 lakh financial assistance to the eligible poor people for
construction of houses in their own plots and a housing site as well as
₹5 lakh financial aid to the landless and homeless poor people.
 पात्र गरीब लोगों को अपने भू िंर्ों और आवास स्थल पर मकान बनाने के नलए ₹5 लाि
की नवत्तीय सहायता के साथ-साथ भूनमहीन और बेघर गरीब लोगों को ₹5 लाि की
नवत्तीय सहायता की मंजूरी।
 They said the SC and ST beneficiaries under the scheme are entitled for
₹6 lakh financial assistance.
 उन्ोंने कहा नक योजना के तहत एससी और एसटी लाभाथी ₹6 लाि की नवत्तीय
सहायता के हकदार हैं ।
