  The Government of India (GoI) has announced the sale (re-issue) of four
dated securities for a notified amount of Rs. 33,000 crore which will be
conducted by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), on 5th August 2022.
 िारत सरकार (िारत सरकार) ने रुपये की अलधसूलचत रालश के लिए चार लदनाांलकत
प्रलतिूलतयोां की लबक्री (पु नः जारी) की घोषणा की है । 33,000 करोड़ जो 5 अगस्त 2022

Trade deficit at record $31 billion in July

 India’s merchandise trade deficit widened sharply to a record $31.02
billion in July, pushed by a rise in crude oil and coal imports.

 This is the third month in a row that the monthly trade deficit had
breached previous records – May had clocked a deficit of $24.3 billion,
followed by $26.2 billion in June.

 India has achieved a landmark milestone, as the Department for
Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), under the Ministry of
Commerce & Industry, has recognized more than 75,000 startups in the
country.

तहत उद्योग और आां तररक व्यापार सांवधट न लविाग (DPIIT) ने दे श में 75,000 से अलधक

 Of the total recognized startups, around 12% belong to IT services, 9% to

Revision Points: Monkeypox

 The first case of monkeypox was confirmed in India, after a person who
had returned to Kerala from UAE developed symptoms of the disease.
 World Health Organization (WHO) has declared monkeypox a global
health emergency. It came at the end of the second meeting of the
WHO’s emergency committee on the virus.

 Monkeypox vaccine, Imvanex, has been approved by the European

Medicines Agency (EMA) for protecting adults from the virus as cases
soar globally.

 Vikas lifted a total weight of 346kg(155kg Snatch and 199kg Clean and

अवसर पर लवलिन्न कल्याणकारी कायटक्रमोां की घोषणा की है ।
 Vidyanidhi Programme: This provides a scholarship from Rs 2,500 to Rs
11,000 to the children of farmers, weavers, taxi drivers and fishermen,
who are studying in 11th class.
 लवद्यालनलध कायट क्रम: 11वी ां कक्षा में पढ़ने वािे लकसानोां, बु नकरोां, र्ै क्सी चािकोां और
मछु आरोां के बच्चोां को 2500 रुपये से 11,000 रुपये तक छात्रवरलत्त प्रदान करता है ।
 Swami Vivekananda Yuva Sangha will be started in 28,000 villages and
training will be given to the youths for them to evolve into entrepreneurs
and five Engineering colleges will be upgraded to the standards followed
by IITs.
 स्वामी लववे कानां द यु वा सां घ 28,000 गाां वोां में शु रू लकया जाएगा और यु वाओां को उद्यमी

mobile internet speeds 10 times faster than 4G worth a whopping Rs
88,078 crore, contributing nearly 59% to the central kitty.

spent Rs 18,799 crore to buy 6,228 MHz of airwaves.

made modest purchases of Rs 212 crore for 400 MHz of spectrum across
six cities
