Unit 1 Psychology

Unit Assignment 1:
You are required to make a video in about 2 to 4 minutes to narrate a personal experience
involving language loss or a difficulty communicating.

Suggested steps:
Step 1. Brainstorm ideas based by making a timeline.

My personal experience involving language loss

Step 2. Think about the grammatical structures (comparison, relative clauses,

conditionals, passive, past tenses, etc.) and vocabulary selected from unit 1 which you
think might be appropriate to be used in your talk.
Step 3. Practice speaking at least two to three times before making the video.
Step 4. After making the video, listen to it again to identify any mistakes or errors that
you have made during your talk. (If a lot of mistakes can be found, you should record
another video clip to avoid mistakes and improve your score.)
Step 5. Submit your video on time. Any late submission will cause you a 20% deduction
from your score.
Your video will be assessed based on the following marking criteria.
