To the Parents of Patrick Valdez,

It has been a pleasure working with your child to help him be
successful this past year. Thank you for all your support and what
you do with him at home. It makes a big difference in the students’
success when parents are on board with their child’s education.
As Patrick goes to 3rd grade, the expectations and rigor will be
higher. To continue to prepare him, I have enclosed math
worksheets and stories he can read during the summer months. He
can use the hundreds chart to help him with math. Allow him to
read the books over and over to build his fluency. It is your
discretion how you want to present the materials to your child.
My hope is that you will continue to work with your child and
continue to encourage him!
Have a Great Summer,
Grace Garza
