Cookie monsters

i.e the shi’is

Irhabiyyah al shishaniyyah

Shi’as prostrating to a cookie is the least of shocks to those who adhere to the Quran and
the sunnah also known as the people of Ahlu sunnah wal jamaa’a. Encountering this pagan
sect trying to justify prostrating to a cookie by using our own ahadith is an absolute joke,
InshaAllah we will refute this today.

Now what is this cookie?

This cookie or so called “turbah” is a piece of soil, preferably made from the soil of Najaf or
Karbala.

The practice of prostrating on a small piece of clay or soil (turbah) is a Shia practice, and it
is an important part of their religious observance. Shias believe that the turbah is a symbolic
representation of the earth from the city of Karbala, where the grandson of the Prophet
Muhammad ‫ ﷺ‬, Imam Hussein ‫‏رضي هللا عنه‬martyred.

(Them using our hadith to justify a ritual is already making them look like clowns)

Shias prostrate on the turbah during their daily prayers as a way of expressing their devotion
to the memory of Imam Hussein ‫‏رضي هللا عنه‬.

Shias believe that the use of the turbah is a legitimate form of religious practice that helps
them “connect with God” and honor the memory of Imam Hussein ‫‏رضي هللا عنه‬.

Bid’ah and shirk

If this is not bid’ah upon bid’ah then I don’t know what it is or even shirk in a way, because
prostrating to a specific mud to “honor” a human is without an exception clear shirk.

Allāh ‫ ﷻ‬said in the Qur’an:

“….Do not associate anything with Me ˹in worship˺ and purify My House for those who circle
˹the Ka’bah˺, stand ˹in prayer˺, and bow and prostrate themselves.”{22:26}

And Allāh ‫ ﷻ‬says in another ayah:

“Do not prostrate to the sun or the moon, but prostrate to Allah, Who created them ˹all˺, if
you ˹truly˺ worship Him ˹alone˺.” {41:37}

The argument of Shi’is:

Shias tend to use this Hadith from Sahih al-Bukhari 836:

Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri:

I saw Allāh's Messenger ‫ ﷺ‬prostrating in mud and water and saw the mark of mud on his
forehead.

This Hadith have absolutely no relation that it’s “sunnah” to prostate to mud nor does it
mention that Muhammad ‫ ﷺ‬used to prostate to a specific mud in order to honor Hussein

‫ رضي هللا عنه‬nor is it anywhere said or encouraged to prostrate on mud or even that you get
rewarded for doing so.

Our beloved Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him said that we can pray everywhere and
anywhere on this dunya as the whole Earth is a place of prayer EXCEPT on graveyards,
toilets/bathrooms (places of najis).

Here is Hadiths proving this:

“The earth has been made for me purifying and as a mosque (place for prayer).”

{Sunan Abi Dawud 489}

And in another hadith, he ‫ ﷺ‬said:

"All of the earth is a Masjid except for the graveyard and the washroom."

{Jami` at-Tirmidhi 317}

Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah ‫‏رضي هللا عنه‬:

The Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬said, "I have been given five things which were not given to anyone else
before me. Allah made me victorious by awe (of frightening my enemies) for a distance of
one month's journey. The earth has been made for me (and my followers) a place for praying
and something with which to perform Tayammum (to purify oneself for prayer). Therefore,
anyone (of my followers) can pray (anywhere) and at any time that the Salat (prayer) is due."

{Bulugh al-Maram 126}

End.
