At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:
1. identify the different types of serving in volleyball;
2. execute the different types of volleyball serves and
3. recognize the importance of the different types of serving in volleyball
through active participation in the activities and discussion.

is very excited to learn our new lesson.

So, before we formally start to our discussion

this morning. I have prepared a short game
called “pick me baby and give me a hugot
lines”. In this activity class I have prepared
here a box which is inside the box have already
a random words that you need to give a hugot
lines by using wheel of names which all of
your names are here but with a twist we will
sing “watermelon watermelon papaya papaya”
and whoever is lucky enough to be selected
from the wheel of names he/she will be the one
who are going to pick inside the box and give
hugot lines.

 To serve, the player holds the ball in
one hand. Swing the right arm
backward transfer weight to the front
foot and strikes the ball from the
bottom with a fist.

 To serve the ball, the player should toss
the ball above the head and hit it by
extending the arm.

 To serve, the player should drawn the

E. Generalization

To summarize our topic always remember that volleyball is a great social activity and
teaches us to have a good communication and team work and the serve is the first opportunity for
a team to score a point and gain an advantage over the opposing team. It also important to have a
knowledge on how to execute properly the different types of serve because it helps you to have a
good contact when it comes to serving.
