about Different Types of Footwork in
Badminton.

Very good kyla. So, it is a game of two or
four. Badminton can be played as singles or
doubles.
In a single rally, there will be two players, Yes ma’am.

While in a double rally, you can pair up
with your friend and play a game of four.

Let us tackle the different foot work in
terms of playing badminton.
First we have the ready position
Being in the ready position allow players to (Students are actively istening)

formation can be used to deliver a powerful

The next is cross over step, this step is used (Students performing)
for travelling quickly across the court. The
step close footwork uses the non-dominant
foot. (Remember that left foot is for a right

E. Generalization
Foot work is important because it allows the player to move faster and more efficiently
throughout the court. A good foot work can reach the shuttle faster, in a better position and
with less effort.
Good badminton footwork is the reason why professionals make a game of badminton look
graceful and effortless. This is because it enables you to reach the shuttle in the fastest and
shortest time possible.
