Today I‘d like to share with you a singing performance that has had a lasting
impression on me until now.
He is applauded for his/her beautiful voice that is free of rigid singing techniques
and captures the audience’s attention from the first notes.
The gig was held on a university campus in Da Lat- a Southern province of Vietnam.
............... seems to have a strong preference for this place as most of his/her concerts
have taken place there.
Well, it might sound a bit weird, but I went to the gig alone. I just wanted solo travel,
and I knew at that time that my friends were swamped with work/study, so it would
be no good asking them to go with me.
As I said earlier, I’m really into .......... His/her voice is so awesome. He/she
never mimics any other singers’ styles; he/she chooses his/her own style: gentle, delicate
but powerful, which is unique and blows the audience away whenever he/she is on
stage. I especially like the way he/she reaches high notes perfectly. He/she knows how
to conceal his/her weaknesses and show off his/her strength. I am absorbed in every
minute of his/her performance because it is flawless to me.
Besides that, the gig took place in the midst of autumn in Da Lat. It was breezy and a bit
cold, but the flock of the audience soon warmed me up. They swayed gently with the
melody and looked over the moon. The gig ended on a high note, and I did have a
blast and feel energized to get back to my city after months of heavy workloads.
I think watching live performances and watching them on TV is more enjoyable than one another
to audiences with different characteristics. On the one hand, extroverts who want to dance and
chant with other fellow fans prefer watching performances live. On the other hand, introverts
who want full control of their surroundings and no distraction will choose enjoying events on TV
in the comfort of their home.
