Course Title: Psycho-Philosophical Foundation of Education
Course Description:
This course attempts to equip and provide Graduate Students the most basic
insights/background foundations of the different theories and principles of growth and
department and likewise, the fundamental philosophies and ideologies of education.
Credit: 3 Units
Course Intended Learning Outcomes:
1. Analyze and clarify one’s idea about education.
2. Critically analyze the development of Education’s Mission, Vision, Goals and
Objectives.
3. Apply the central concepts, tools of inquiry to structures of Philosophy and
Psychology to understand contemporary issues and paradigms in Education.
4. Examine educational goals, teaching methods and curriculum from a variety of
philosophical and psychological perspectives.
5. Critique articles, original, high-quality researches and scholarly works on
education and schooling.
6. Formulate a comprehensive personal philosophical educational development
plan.

ASSESSMENT SYSTEM AND PERFORMANCE STANDARD
