General Comments and Questions


1. What are the independent variables of the study?
2. Need to know what the independent variable in the topic is before to proceed in the next
chapter.
3. What is the problem encountered by the researchers in terms of collaborative?
4. Need to have empirical evidence on why need to conduct this study.
5. How come the teaching competencies and the collaborative as the title of the study of
the researchers? If the respondents are not already professional teachers and they are
pre-service teachers only as of today.
6. The research adviser suggested that the researcher will be focusing on the classroom
teaching competencies.
7. The panel chairman in the conducted research proposal he revised the topic, the
researcher will be focusing on the classroom teaching competencies of pre-service
teachers specifically the Social Studies major pre-service teachers.
8. This study is conducted inside the classroom in the College of Teacher Education and
the respondents will be remained the third- and fourth-year Social Studies pre-service
teachers.

Studies Teachers.

CHAPTER I
Introduction
The introduction failed to clearly show the logical connectedness between the objectives
and the reason that will justify the study that will be conducted.
Revised Objectives:
This study aims to determine the Classroom Teaching Competencies of Pre-Service
Social Studies Teachers.
This specifically targets to achieve the following objectives:

1. Determine the respondents’ extent of manifestation of classroom teaching


competencies as assessed by the instructors and pre-service teachers relative to:
1.1 Communication and Interpersonal;
1.2 Collaboration and Teamwork; and
1.3 Flexibility and Adaptability
2. Find the differences in the assessments by the two groups of respondents.
3. Identify the issues and challenges in the development of classroom teaching
competencies.
4. Propose learning activities.

CHAPTER II
Since there are major revisions when it comes to the objectives of the study, the
following will be the topics under the review of literature:

I. Classroom Teaching Competencies.


II. Issues and Challenges.
III. Preparation or Learning Activities.
