1. Identify a teacher leader that you know. How do teacher leaders influence
society?

What I can identify to be a teacher lear that I know is Sir Melvin Ramil. For
he always strives for authenticity in teaching, learning, and assessment practices.
And to be a teacher leader that will influence society is to exercise dynamic
leadership in schools by enhancing the possibility of social and school reform. And
by shaping the minds and values of future generations in a good way.

2. How can we courage teachers to exercise leadership on their school?

We can somehow encourage teachers to exercise leadership in their school


by implementing and acquiring more seminars, pieces training, workshop, and
meetings in promoting how to execute leadership in school.

1. What types of problems do teachers encounter on their classes? How do they


manage these problems?

The main problems that teachers always facing and having are classroom
management. And to overcome this kind of problem, a teacher should know their
learners and should be well-informed in psychology to understand their
development and behavior. They also should establish clear rules and procedures,
making learners responsible and accountable for their actions and behaviors, by

planning lessons and learning activities effectively, and by developing intervention
skills for dealing with different classroom problems.

2. How can we empower teachers to become effective classroom managers?

We can empower teachers to become effective classroom managers by


taking-up advanced courses and degrees, attending conferences, and practicing
seminars, workshops, and training that will surely help them to enhance, expand,
and expound their skills, capabilities, and knowledge about the classroom
management and to become an effective classroom manager.

3. How can teachers work effectively with families and professionals to


understand issues and problems of leaner?

Teachers work effectively with families and professionals to understand the


issues and problems of learners by approaching them and knowing their
problems. Also consulting their parents and guardians will best source of
information and insights on what was the learners' problem. And of course, by
giving them advice and virtues that will surely help them to fight and overcome
their problems.

1. How can we develop research culture of basic education teacher in the


country?

Teachers are required to renew their teaching credentials periodically.


Require that faculty use search engines daily to improve the delivery style of
instruction and require students to use them in homework. In-service classes are
designed to include guest speakers explaining how research with the internet can
augment their base knowledge of research skills.

2. How can we encourage teachers to take professional development seriously to


improve their knowledge and skills?

We can encourage teachers to take professional development seriously to
improve their knowledge and skills by building a professional link with colleagues
and other professionals, conducting relevant research, committing to lifelong
learning, and enrolling in graduate and post-graduate education courses. Through
this matter teachers will have professional development that will surely enhance,
expound, and expand their skills and knowledge.

3. What do you think could be done to improve of the quality of in-service


programs and graduate education in the country?

I think the things that should be done to improve the quality of in-service
programs and graduate education in our country are to promote teachers to
become more professional, empower teachers to develop professionally and
commit themselves to continuous professional development. In this kind of
improvement and implementation, there is a possibility of enhancing,
expounding, and expanding the improvements of in-service programs and
graduate education in the country.
