1. What are the essential features of the assessment framework of the Department of
Education in the Philippines?

The essential features of the assessment framework of the Department of Education in

the Philippines are knowing who is the learner that their best in class and vice-versa. By this
framework, they can analyze and evaluate each learner and know who will be needed to teach
and instruct more in future classroom discussions or activities. Moreover, it will somehow be
the record or proof of the teacher in case there is some misleading information between
student-to-teacher, student-to-parent, and teacher-to-parent. And lastly, it will be the blueprint
or backbone of the teachers' discussion or activities inside the classroom for him/her to always
prepare on going inside the classroom before teaching.

2. What should be included in an individual learning portfolio?

The most important that should be included in an individual learning portfolio are their
activities, lectures, as well as documentation while doing certain practicums or demonstrations.
Furthermore, they also include quizzes, assignments, and exams. For this will be proof that they
are attending and participating continuously in learning inside the classroom.

3. Some people believe that grades don't necessarily reflect the capacity and ability of a
student. What are your ideas about this?

My opinion is that, if you're gifted, your grades don't always reflect your intelligence or
ability. Grades are not a true reflection of one's intelligence, but do show how hard you work.
Schools need to decide what grades mean; grades should reflect the knowledge, not how fast
you got there. And in addition, if grades were the only thing that determined a student's ability
and capability, none of this would be possible. Poor grades can be followed by a quite
successful life, even in subjects where a person received poor grades.

The forms of community services that teachers provide in our community are promoting
quality education and the protection of the welfare of the students. Moreover, teachers
provide professional services needed by the school, students, and community. In addition, the
teacher establishes a learning environment that responds to and concerns of the individual and
family of the learner. And lastly, they provide an implementation of quality education and they
stand as implementers, leaders, and advocates of educational programs in society.

2. How come teachers strengthen their linkages and partnerships with government
organizations and private institutions?

Teachers strengthen their linkage and partnerships with government organizations and
private institutions by empowering their bond and promoting what to do and how it will be
done. Furthermore, giving bits of advice and support from each other can be a great big impact
to strengthen their bond in terms of having a good condition.
