ANSWER:
ERIK ERICKSON
Erikson’s psychological theory in the classroom
help educators understands that every child is
unique. He suggested creating projects that allow
children to take charge of their learning progress
of the child. Moreover, he insisted to give
children many small choices within acceptable
limits and talk privately about their poor choices
for them to realize and accept that all
individuals naturally commit mistakes and
definitely can help them to improve better. Giving
rewards and recognition for their achievements
also encouraged to motivate the Childs to maintain
their progress.
HOWARD GARDNER
He is considered one of the greatest philosopher
in the field for he developed the idea of
conceptualization of multiple intelligences. This
encouraged other philosophers to do further
researchers based from his idealistic principle.
His theory challenges also the educational system
that every child can learn in the same material
but definitely has different level of
understanding. Moreover, educators should take
into account the different type of learners they
have and should provide a multiple task that suits
to the ability of diverse learners.
ABRAHAM MASLOW
Maslow conceptualized the theory of hierarchy of
needs which motivates educators to identify the
desired needs to be addressed. This will help us
understand the behavior of every child. It is
challenged on our part to attend the different
needs of our children. However, this challenge can
help us understand the behavior of every child and
ultimately gave us insights on how to help them
progress. In the real world of teaching we can
never be like wonder woman who can give all the
needs of our children but in the end of the day we
can be a Wonder Ma’am who can help them building a
brighter future through quality education.
