Performance Standards The learner properly handles teenage problems or issues related to sexuality
through developed skills in responsible decision-making.
Transfer Goals At the end of the quarter, the learners should be able to demonstrate
understanding of key concepts of human sexuality, dimensions and factors
affecting human sexuality, teenage concerns, and develop skills in decision-
making in managing sexuality-related issues.

Essential Understanding 1. Determining a person’s sexuality requires awareness of its three
dimensions biological, psychological, and sociocultural.
2. Learning about sexuality and discussing sexual issues is critical for
sexual health, but is a sensitive and challenging process.
3. The family plays a crucial role in providing children with gradual
education in sexual life.

Performance Task: (Summative Assessment)
Goal Perform a culminating activity showcasing the students knowledge and
comprehension on the topics discussed about human sexuality and family
health.
