Canva Navigation for Teachers

Speaker: Kervin M.Sapungan

1. The key concepts that I have learmed in this session are:Canva is a design platform that
allows you to create a wide range of interactive media materials including infographics,
posters, presentations, worksheets, comic strips, newsletters, book reports, cards, and
many more. Canva has recently release a batch of wonderful AI tools that will
transform your graphic design experience in unprecedented ways. Check out Canva AI
tools to learn more.

2. I can integrate this in the field of education through teaching students to solve problems
with existing solutions, let them experiment and innovate in order to stumble upon
something better. The goal is to come up with more human-centered, collaborative, and
optimistic ways to create social change—or at least to start thinking that way. I can also
become a better educator by putting more effort into the “design aspect” of your lessons.
3. Summary:
Canva is perfect for a teacher or educator who is switching to remote working or online
classes, as well as those who want to strengthen classroom creativity. The main benefit is that
educators —and all their students—can access this platform for free, with no limits on
offerings or time.
It’s also helpfully compatible with platforms you’re already using, including Dropbox,
Google Drive, and Google Classroom, so signing up doesn’t mean giving up processes
you’ve created and streamlined elsewhere. With easy-to use-design features and single sign-
on for easy student access, Canva is built for everyone.
As a tool for teaching, it’s also great at encouraging creativity, enhancing collaboration and
streamlining work.
