In the Keyboard Settings page, There are lists of keyboard shortcut keys
click ‘View Keyboard Shortcuts’ that you can use while using your
Chromebook.

Shortcut keys such as taking fullscreen and partial screenshots, enabling CAPS lock,
activating sleep mode can be done by using shortcut keys.

Turn CAPS Lock On and Off : Alt +

Take fullscreen screenshot : Ctrl +

Open the Files App : Alt + Shift + m

1. Start Chrome browser & click on the extension icon 2. Under the Mobile Guardian extension, click on

5. A new tab will appear, click on the download icon

A pop-up will appear to notify that the file has been downloaded into your Chromebook.

Click ‘Show in Folder’ to locate the file in your device.

6. The file will automatically be saved in your Google Drive.

You may choose to create different folders in your Google Drive to
group the files based on subjects. ☺

Search Bar

1. On your screen, swipe up and you will be able to see the apps that are available
on your Chromebook. Find & Click ‘Play Store’

You may also type ‘Play Store’ on the Search Bar.

2. On Play Store, you will see the list of Apps that have
been pushed to your device via DMA. Some of the apps
have already been automatically installed for you.

However, there are a few apps that are being used for
selected classes.

Click on the app you would like to download –

 CARING FOR YOUR CHROMEBOOK
1. Power off, lock or put Chromebook on Sleep Mode when device is not in use. This is to
ensure that nobody will be to access the content of your Chromebook.
2. To save the battery life of your Chromebook, always do a proper Shut Down on your device.
3. Back up your device regularly! Maintain the storage space of Chromebook by deleting files
that you no longer need or use. You may store these files in a thumb drive.
4. Never lift a Chromebook by the screen or carry a Chromebook with the screen open.
5. Chromebooks are required to be fully charged every day. No charging of Chromebook is
allowed in school.
6. Chromebook should stay connected to network to receive the latest software, apps and DMA
updates
