Accomplishment Report in Araling PanlipunanUnited Nation Celebration

with the theme:‘’International Year of Creative Economy for Sustainable
Development’’
October 19, 2019

United Nation Day is celebrated yearly by schools and other institutions on the 24 day of October. It is a
celebration of all the countries in the world. It is a colorful and fun celebration specially in different schools.
Students and teachers wear the different cultural dress of each country. It showcased the different values and
culture of each country in the world Children customarily dress in the national costumes of member
states and hold a program on United Nation Day. Individual students, classes, or grade levels are
assigned a country to represent and study; students handcraft their assigned country's flag and
prepare cultural presentations and food as part of the day's educational activities.

In line with that, the San Vicente Elementary School celebrated the United Nation by conducting
different activities with the theme: ‘’International Year of Creative Economy for Sustainable Development’’. Each
grade level has different contest to perform and each grade level has representatives. The following are the
activities conducted in different grade level;
Grade 1-fag making contest
Grade 2- headdress contest
Grade 3-poster making contest
Grade 4- Dances of the nations contest
Grade 5- slogan making contest
Grade 6 - spoken poetry contest

United Nation Celebration in San Vicente Elementary School highlighted the coronation of Mr. and Ms.
UN 2019 where in it is a fund raising contest for the procurement of good sound system for school. We are able to
raise a fund amounting to Php. 78,000. The event is successful because of the cooperation and teamwork of our
loving principal, dedicated teachers, pupils and parents. Indeed, we are United! The significance of United
Nations Day lies in its celebration of diversity. It is an official day to appreciate the diversity of
cultures, religions, and languages all over the world. On this day, countries come together to
spread ideas of peace and harmony among people who originate from various backgrounds.

celebration of all the countries in the world. It is a colorful and fun celebration specially in different schools.
Students and teachers wear the different cultural dress of each country. It showcased the different values and

In line with that, the San Vicente Elementary School celebrated the United Nation by conducting
different activities with the theme: ‘’Equality, Freedom and Justice to All’. Each grade level had different activities
perform such as display of UN Flags , integrating UN concepts in Araling Panlipunan sessions, watching videos
of UN accomplishments and people power videos on non-resistance violence in Araling Panlipunan classes. Other
activities are poster and slogan making contest and spoken poetry for intermediate level.

One of the highlights of San Vicente Elementary School United Nations Celebration is the coronation of
Mr. and Ms. UN 2019 where in it is a fund raising contest for the construction/rehabilitation and installation of
school stage. We were able to raise fund amounting to Php. 155,000. As of now, the construction is almost
finished and it is being utilized as make shift classroom of Grade VI classes. The event is successful because of the
cooperation and teamwork of our loving principal, dedicated teachers, pupils and parents. Indeed, we are
United! The significance of United Nations Day lies in its celebration of diversity. It is an official
day to appreciate the diversity of cultures, religions, and languages all over the world. On this
