1. There are 15 strategies used to design Sustainable Buildings, Urban Areas and
neighbourhoods. For this assignment, you will be required to expand your understanding of
these principles by researching on at least 3No. strategies and outlining your findings under
the following subtitles for each strategy:

i. The science behind the strategy.

ii. Design considerations and application of the strategy.
iii. Analysis of Case studies that have applied the strategy. For each Case study, explain
how your findings in part (i) and (ii) are articulated in the design and give a general
background about the Project, its location, its climate, the site context and relevant site
analysis.

For this assignment the 15 strategies are allocate as follows:
