Greetings in peace in the Lord Jesus Christ!
As stated in DepEd Order No. 35, s.2016, the Learning Action Cell is an in-person
gathering of educators, parents, and community members at the school to discuss
particular learning concerns including attendance, behavior, or student
accomplishment. Through cooperative problem-solving, data analysis, and decision-
making, a SLAC seeks to enhance student learning and overall school performance.
SLACs frequently include teachers in problem-solving, decision-making, and data
analysis, all of which can enhance teacher competencies and enhance student
learning outcomes.
Biñan City Senior High School- Timbao Campus will be having its School Learning
Action Cell, entitled Team Building: Building a Team Together, that encompasses
several activities and programs aimed at enhancing team members' communication,
cooperation, trust, and problem-solving abilities, thus enhancing the team's overall
efficacy. These tasks frequently require teams to cooperate in order to complete a
task or find a solution.
As the SLAC Coordinator, who intends to help our school and its personnel in the
continuous formation, training, and seminar that encourage everyone to take actions
collaboratively, I am seeking your permission from your good office to conduct a face-
to-face School Learning Action Cell on January 19,2024 here in our school.
Attached herewith are the SLAC activity proposal/plan, matrix, and working
committees for your extensive review.

PROJECT PROPOSAL
A. Title of the Training:
TEAM BUILDING: BUILDING A TEAM TOGETHER
B. Target Participants and Number of Participants:

This formation, seminar, and workshop on Team Building have a target of
twenty-one (21) participants in total; it comprises eleven (11) teachers and nine (9)
SPTA Officers as well as the process observer, the district supervisor from DepEd
Biñan City.
C. Proposed Date and Venue:

The SLAC will be conducted on January 29, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at
the FBS Laboratory of the school.
D. Funding Source:
The budget for this activity will be coming from love offering from the
participants.

The activity is free of charge and the participants are the SPTA Officers and
Faculty Association officers of BCSHS –Timbao Campus.

This activity is spearheaded by the School Head, Marlon B. Flores, SLAC
Proponents, Mary Jean M. Bitangcor, Jackylyn Del Carmen, Maricel Z. Alcantara
and SLAC Technical Working Committee.
H. Rationale:
Team Building refers to activities and programs that are designed to improve
communication, collaboration, trust, and problem-solving skills among team
members, with the goal of strengthening the overall team's effectiveness. Often, these
activities involve team members working together to accomplish a common goal or
solve a problem.

I. Objectives:
Terminal Objectives:
The terminal objective of team building is to promote teamwork,

communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills among team members. The
goal of team building is to improve overall team effectiveness and performance. By
building strong relationships among team members, teams can work more effectively
together, leading to better decision-making, problem-solving, and ultimately better
outcomes for the organization. Team building can also help organizations attract and
retain top talent, as well as improve overall employee satisfaction and job
satisfaction.
Enabling Objectives:
This project intends to:
1. Improved Performance: By working together to accomplish a common goal,

team members can learn how to communicate effectively, collaborate, and
problem-solve, which can lead to improved performance and better outcomes
for the team.
2. Enhanced Communication: Team building activities can help team members
to develop better communication skills, which can lead to improved decision-
making and more effective problem-solving.
3. Increased Trust: Building trust among team members can improve morale and
job satisfaction, which can lead to a higher level of commitment and
motivation to achieve team goals.
4. Increased Satisfaction: Team building activities can promote team bonding
and social interaction, which can lead to increased job satisfaction and better
teamwork.
5. Improved Team Work: Team building activities can help team members to
develop better collaborative skills, which can lead to improved teamwork and
better outcomes for the team.
6. Better Employee Retention: Improved workplace culture, increased job
satisfaction, and better teamwork can lead to increased employee retention
and reduced staffing costs for the organization.
