ESTIMATED COST OF DIFFERENT TYPES OF BRIDGE STRUCTURE PER LINEAR METER (PhP)
as of January 2022
Table 6
Note:
1.) The cost estimate for dry/low water level condition includes Embankment Craneway and Embankment T-Platform, while the cost estimate for
high/deep water level condition includes Structural Steel Craneway, Structural Steel T-Platform and Cofferdamming of the footing foundation.
2.) Cost of Replacement/Reconstruction work may be increased by 15% of the new construction cost due to removal of existing bridge structure
and provision of detour and traffic management.
3.) The price of construction materials are based on the regional average prices plus 15% mark-up for the hauling cost (4th Quarter of CY
2022), equipment rates are based from the latest ACEL Rates (26th Edition) & Department Order No. 63, Series of 2022, authorizing the use
of operated dry rental rates plus updated fuel price & other petroleum products and labor rates are based on the approved labor rates
(December 2022).
4.) The estimated unit cost was derived from the assumed typical design of Bridge Structure and may vary depending on the actual design.
5.) The retrofitting works is assumed to be designed using glass fiber reinforcement on girders.
Notes:
3.) Further Assessment refers to Bridges that are either under the circumstances of on-going construction, under major maintenance work or washed-out.
