 TEACHING APPROACH It is a set of principles, beliefs, or ideas about the nature of learning which
is translated into the classroom. An approach is a way of looking at teaching and learning.
Underlying any language teaching approach is a theoretical view of what language is, and of how
it can be learnt.

B. Teaching Strategy

teacher uses during instruction. It is generally recognised that teaching strategies are
multidimensional and their effectiveness depends on the context in which they are applied.

C. Teaching Method

 A teaching method is a set of principles and methods used by teachers to enable student
learning. These strategies are determined partly on subject matter to be taught, partly by the
relative expertise of the learners, and partly by constraints caused by the learning environment.

D. Teaching Technique

 Teaching methods are the broader techniques used to help students achieve learning outcomes,
while activities are the different ways of implementing these methods. Teaching methods help
students: master the content of the course. learn how to apply the content in particular
contexts.
