Opening Program

Rogelio: Preliminaries

(Greetings)

Marie: Harnessing and showcasing one’s skill and talents lead to countless opportunities and excellence.

Good morning everyone! Welcome to the Legislative District 5 Festival of Talents with the theme,
“Demonstrating Resiliency of Learners during the New Normal through Showcasing of Skills and Talents
in the Culture and Art, and Technology”

This is Susana Marie D. Diampoc,

This is Rogelio Rabec Jr.

Your hosts for today.

Rogelio: To set off this event, let us all stand for the singing of the National Anthem to be followed by a
prayer to be played through an audio-visual presentation.

Marie: May we listen to the District In-Charge of the host district, the man in action, Dr. Jun Jun G.
Ringor, for an opening remarks.

Rogelio: Thank you, sir. Now, to formally welcome us all especially the other delegates from other
districts, may I call on Hon. Armando L. Lacambra, Municipal Councilor of Quezon for his words of
welcome.

Marie: Thank you, sir. Moving on, to acquaint us and acknowledge the presence of all the participants
who are partaking in this event, let us welcome the stunning PSDS of San Manuel District, Dr. Elizabeth
B. Bueno, for the presentation of delegates.

Rogelio: At this point, we are indeed privileged to have with us the man known for his unceasing
support to all schools’ endeavours, and to give us his inspirational message, please join me in welcoming
our Chief Executive, Hon. Jimmy S. Gamazon Jr. A warm of applause please.

Marie: Thank you, sir! This LD5 Festival of Talents has its purpose of showcasing both the innate and
acquired skills of the learners through the different contested activities, and with this, to orient us on
the procedures of today’s event, please welcome Dr. Maribel M. Ancheta, the PSDS of Roxas East
District.

Rogelio: Thank you, ma’am. This event wouldn’t be realized without the presence of our dignified board
of judges, so, for us to be acquainted with them, let us put our hands together to the PSDS of Burgos
district, Dr. Roxy D. Aranda.

Marie: Thank you, ma’am. This time, to give us a message and to formally declare the opening of LD
FOT, let us pave way to the LD5 Chairperson, Dr. Marietta M. Fontanilla. Let’s give her a round of
applause.

Rogelio: So there you go, this is the end of our opening program. Good luck and God bless dear
participants. Enjoy your stay here in Quezon.
Marie: The remaining time will be allotted for the contest proper. See you this afternoon in the closing
program. Thank you! Please be guided and reminded of the following contest venues.

III. Closing Program

Marie: Good afternoon everyone! We are back for the Closing Program.

The beginning is great but the ending is even greater, for we have already selected the best among the
best to represent our LD for the higher level. I know that everyone is excited for the result.

Rogelio: to start the program, may we all stand for the singing of Makabayan song, to be followed by a
prayer through an AVP.

Marie: And now, may I call on Dr. Jun Jun G. Ringor, DIC of Quezon, for the checking of participants.

Rogelio: Thank you, sir. It’s good to know that all the participants are safe and sound. Are you ready for
the result? Before we proceed to the highlight of this program, may we all be delighted to listen to an
inspirational message from the LD5 Chairperson, Dr. Marietta M. Fontanilla.

Marie: thank you, ma’am! The long wait is over, the results are finally out. (Awarding of winners to each
category)

Rogelio: (photo opportunity)

Marie: now ladies and gentlemen, let us welcome the Principal II of Quezon Central School, sir Alex T.
Sakiting for his words of acknowledgement.
