SUBJECT : Letter to Conduct of 2022 Census of Agriculture and Fisheries

Greetings from Philippine Statistics Authority, Davao Oriental!

In line with the goal of government to plan, create programs, work projects and deliver services to
the Filipino farmers to sustain the needs of the Filipinos in the sectors of agricultural and fishery, the
Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) in coordination with the Local Government Units (LGU’s) and
other related agencies, will be conducting an extensive 2022 Census of Agriculture and Fisheries
(CAF 2022) which will commence on September 4, 2023 until October 25, 2023.

The 2022 CAF primarily aims to determine and collate data about the structural characteristics of all
agricultural and fishing activities engaged by individuals in your community. The data gathered will
be used by the government to assess the necessities of the Filipino farmers in order to allocate funds
and supplies for the sustainability and development of agricultural and fishery sectors and fostering
and ever-changing country, hence.

In view thereof, the PSA humbly seeks for your support and assistance to our field employees who
will be deployed on the above-stated period. Furthermore, there will be an ocular visit to be
spearheaded by the respective personnel prior to the actual enumeration period to discus important
matters that would help to expedite the whole census activity.
