Biofuel in Shipping
Industry
Pendahuluan
Minyak bumi dengan berbagai jenis hidrokarbon diolah di unit pengolahan
menjadi produk bahan bakar minyak

Minyak sawit (terdiri atas trigliserida dan asam


lemak), dan turunannya dapat dikonversikan melalui
rute transesterifikasi, hydrotreating, dekarboksilasi,
siklisasi, isomerisasi, cracking menjadi biofuel atau
green fuels (alternatif bensin, avtur, dan minyak solar)

Karakteristik Bahan Bakar Nabati Jenis Biodiesel
▪ Biodiesel memiliki sifat yang mirip dengan minyak solar, namun penanganan biodiesel
tidak dapat disetarakan dengan minyak solar.
▪ Dalam menjaga konsistensi kualitas dan keberlangsungan aplikasi di lapangan,
Pemerintah telah menerbitkan Pedoman Umum Penanganan dan Penyimpanan Bahan
Bakar Nabati dan Campurannya dengan Kandungan Maksimum 40% untuk Mesin Diesel
(Ditjen EBTKE, KESDM).

CONCLUSION
Conclusion:
• In reality, biofuels has already mandatory implemented to
INSA members.
• Not yet trial as suggested by engine maker.
• LNG has already pilot project for crew boat, could be used if
supply (infrastructure) is already secured.
• Onshore Power Supply is one program to implement the
Green Port Program. Ministry of Transportation Directorate
General of Sea Transportation has already issued circular
letter to support Onshore Power Supply
