I seek relaxation and direction from my faith when faced with local or global
difficulties. I gain inner calm and clarity through prayer and meditation. I am
uplifted by Samuel's role in paying attention to his inner convictions and ideals in
the same way that Samuel followed God's notice. Samuel's steadfast trust and
eagerness to anoint David in the face of challenges inspires me to remain faithful to
my principles and approach obstacles with courage and determination. I am
reminded to use my faith to make a beneficial impact on both national and
international problems through Samuel's servant and leadership positions.
