Change to Purple Rain

10th rnd: 1 sc in each st in blo [12] stuff as you go, though not too tightly, as the lantern

needs to be able to hang

11th-59th rnd: 1 sc in each st [12] fasten off with sl st in next st, leave yarn for joining

Join the yarn (Purple Rain) in a st in flo from 9th rnd

1st rnd: (inc) x 6 [12]

2nd-3rd rnd: 1 sc in each st [12] fasten off with sl st in next st, weave end

TEETH
Made with White

ch 6, start in 2nd ch from hook, every row is turned with 1 ch

1st row: 5 sc [5]

2nd row: dec, 3 sc [4]

3rd row: dec, 2 sc [3]

4th row: dec, 1 sc [2]

5th row: dec [1] fasten off and weave, now make an additional 5 teeth

Join the yarn (White) in first st of the chain-row and make 5 sc, now continue to next tooth

with 5 sc, continue until all 6 teeth are joined with a total of 30 sc, fasten off and leave yarn

for joining.

EYES, MAKE TWO

Start with Black

2nd rnd: (inc) x 6 [12] finish the rnd with sl st in blo of next st and change to Orange at the

same time

3rd rnd: start in same st as sl st of last rnd (ch 1, inc (made with sl st)) x 6 in blo [18]

Change to White

4th rnd: (1 sc, inc, 1 sc) x 6 in blo [24]

5th rnd: 1 sc in each st in blo [24]

6th rnd: 1 sc in each st [24] fasten off with sl st in next st, you can stitch a dot in the eye

with the tail if you want, weave end

Now the outer part of the eye is made with Purple Rain.

ch 25 and gather in a ring with a sc, this st counts as first st of next rnd

1st rnd: (4 sc, inc) x 5 = 30 sts

2nd-6th rnd: 1 sc in each st, fasten off with sl st in next st and leave a long tail for joining

and to sewing the two pieces together. Fold the outer part of the eye and place the inner

part inside, sew the two pieces together.

JOINING
Join the teeth to the bottom of the body, so there are 3 teeth on each side of the chain-row

of the body

Join the eyes on each side of the fish between rnds 15 and 24

Join the fins to each side of the body between rnds 30 and 34

Join the lantern to the top of the body between rnds 24 and 28
