Abbreviations
sc: Single crochet
inc: Increase
dec: Decrease
tr: Treble/Triple crochet
dc: Double crochet
hdc: Half double crochet
sl-st: Slip stitch
ch: Chain
st/sts: stitch/stitches
FLO: Front loop only.
BLO: Back loop only.

BL: Bobble Stitch: (Yarn over insert your hook into the st and pull up a loop.Yarn over
again and pull through 2 loops) repeat the steps in the same st until you have a total of 5
loops on your hook.Yarn over and pull through all 5 loops at once.
Reverse single crochet: Ch 1, working from left to right, insert your hook into the next
st,turn hook to the left side, grab yarn and pull through. There are now 2 loops on your
hook. Draw up a loop, bring yarn over the hook again and draw this loop through both
loops.
(…)- x times: Repeat the instructions between parantheses x times.
(…): Reprensents the number of sts you should have at the end of the round.

The finished toy will be 20 cm tall if you use similar materials.

8 mm safety eyes (black)
2 pieces wooden buttons in 2 cm diameter
Tiny buttons
Black embroidery thread
Fiberfill
Tapestry needle
2.5 mm or a hook that fits your yarn

Eye Patch (Make 2)

Attach safety eyes into the first ch section as in the pictures. Attach them on the head
after Round 24 of the head. Sew them on the head after stuffing the head.

Attach the eyes between Round 12 and 13 with 12 sts distance between them. Emroider
little lines on the outer side of the eyes using white color yarn as in the pictures.

With brown color.

Pin and sew the head on the body after completing the body.

Sew the cheeks on each side of the head. Embroider face with black embroidery thread.

Hair
With mustard color.
Ch 7, starting from the 2nd st from your hook; 6 sc, ch 7, starting from the 2nd st from
your hook, 6 sc, ch 5, starting from the 2nd st from your hook, 4 sc.
Sew the hair on the head as in the pictures.

Break yarn leaving along tail after the 2nd leg.

Do not stuff the upper parts of the legs tightly. Sew the legs on the body with the long
tail of the second leg.
Sew the legs between Round 9 and 10 of the body. To have movable legs we will use
wooden buttons.

Thread your needle with the long tail and pull your needle through the outer side of the
leg.Pull it through the hole of the button, again pull your needle through the same st(
through which you pulled your needle before). Repeat pulling your needle in the same
way for a few times.
