Proper Age to Start Dating
Dating could be a great social experience. It is to
find a compatible person to stay with the rest of
our lives. It is one way to prepare ourselves for
our future. To be specific, marriage. Dating is a
decision that needs to be think over and not just

be a bad social experience.

No School Uniform—a toss-up or loss?

not required to wear school uniforms for the
school year 2022-2023, which sparked a high
level of debate among parents, students, and

requirement for students in public schools to
wear uniforms (DepEd Order No. 065, s. 2010)
to avoid incurring additional costs for the

uniform to school is not a mandatory necessity.
If a student already has a uniform, they are
welcome to keep using it to save money on

with uniforms, especially older students, can
wear them during school days. For new students
who may not yet have enough money to buy a
uniform, they may attend class without one. The
policy is for the parents to have more power
over where to put their money—on the uniform

In a practical sense, families will find it much
simpler to buy school clothes when they are
aware of what they need to get rather than trying
to stay up with the newest trends. Parents who
want to allow their children to wear what they
want regardless of the context are the ones who
are pushing back the most. These are the parents
who don't provide their children with a realistic
perspective on the world.
If you don't believe those are problems in our
school, then it’s time to look on what’s going
on. Instead of not requiring students to wear a
school uniform, why not make school uniforms
affordable for all? In this case, a school can have
more recognizable identities. Consequently, not
wearing a school uniform is a way of slashing
out the traditional way of education, which is
what makes the country more deeply enmeshed
in crisis than economic losses due to the extent
of the pandemic.
After school, when reality creeps in, we must
consider the fact that we won't always be able to
dress or act the way we choose in the working
industry. Perhaps, one of the most significant
benefits of instituting a school uniform dress
code is that it fosters a sense of community
among the students and increases school pride.
The bottom line is that wearing a school uniform
is virtuous, but there are more pressing issues in
the education sector than school uniforms that
demand action.

living can do so, but with the current situation,

inflation we are currently experiencing. Our
current predicament has been solidified by
decades of unchecked government spending and
reckless additions to the national debt, along

As a result, the pressure is being felt by all. We
put a lot of effort into building our nest egg and
keeping control over their present and future, but
inflation cripples us, driving many of us into
personal stagnation because of our perpetual,
hopeless dependency on the government.

Social Weather Stations from June 26 to June
29, 12.2 million Filipinos now consider their
families to be poor, up from 10.9 million in
April. This equates to around 48% of households
who consider themselves to be impoverished.
By rating their own poverty based on the food
they consume, the number of Filipinos who
judged their families to be "food poor" rose from
31 to 34 percent, or from 7.9 to 8.7 million
people. Additionally, the numbers are predicted
to increase as headline inflation increased to
8.1% as of December 2022, driven primarily by
increased transportation and food costs.
Furthermore, Inflation is much more
than just a costly trip to the grocery shop and gas

forced to live in a state of crisis because of
inflation, prioritizing the short-term over the
long-term that affects futures more than just our
wallets. People grow dejected and even give up
on their goals altogether and force us to remain
stuck in place and dependent on government aid.
In a society, envy makes sense. In a
zero-sum world, if someone has more than you,
that person is doing themselves an advantage by
exploiting others. However, this is not the case
in a market society, and the world is not a zero-
sum game. Success does not depend on
exploiting others, but on taking risks, ingenuity,
investment, hard work, and willingness to pay to
provide value to others. The market economy
has left the primitive economy behind, allowing
for enormous wealth creation and the greatest
poverty reduction in world history. The more
intense the inflation, the harder it will be to
control it. This is because workers are
demanding more wages to make up for declining
real incomes, prompting producers to continue
raising prices in a wage-price spiral. This is the
key reason why the last inflation crisis lasted
over his decade.
It's been less than a year since we got
into this inflationary predicament, but the most
recent data demonstrate what's initiating the
wage-price spiral in the first place. To put a halt
to this, the national government should boost
interest rates to a level that is higher than
inflation and then keep them there.
