本課程將介紹唇腭裂與其它顏面畸型造成之溝通障礙及語言治療師在顱顏團隊中扮演的角
色。藉由了解正常顱顏生理解剖及腭咽瓣的生理機轉,進而認識造成唇腭裂與其它顏面畸型
造成之溝通障礙的原因。另外,也將介紹與顱顏相關之症候群。認識因為唇腭裂與其它顏面
畸型造成的障礙,主要針對餵食、齒顎、語言、構音、共鳴、音聲、聽力、與心理社會適應
等問題,藉此了解此類個案的評估重點與方向。強調專業團隊合作的評估與治療,對此類各
案的必要性,並了解此類個案治療內容,包括相關手術、齒顎矯正、語言治療、進食與聲音
訓練、腭咽功能訓練等。
This course will introduce the communication barriers caused by cleft lip, palate and other facial

deformities and the role of speech and language pathologists in the craniofacial team. By

understanding the normal craniofacial anatomy and the physiological mechanism of the

velopharyngeal valve, students can further understand the causes of communication barriers caused

by cleft lip and palate and other facial deformities. In addition, craniofacial syndromes will also be

introduced. Understand the obstacles caused by cleft lip and palate and other facial deformities,

mainly focusing on issues such as feeding, teeth and jaws, language, articulation, resonance, voice,

hearing, and psychosocial adaptation, so as to understand the focus and procedure of evaluation of

such cases. Emphasis on the evaluation and treatment of professional teamwork, the necessity of

such cases, and understanding of the treatment content of such cases, including related surgeries,

tooth and jaw correction, speech therapy, eating and voice training, velopharyngeal function

training, etc.

本課程授課方式將採多媒體講義、指定教科書、期刊報告、個案說話樣本收集與分析的個案
報告方式進行。

This course will be taught in the form of multimedia lecture notes, designated textbooks, journal

reports, and case reports that collect and analyze case speech samples.

肆、授課目的與學習目標
本課程授課目的:1)教授唇腭裂與其它顏面畸型的生理與解剖發展及相關遺傳性疾病與症
候群;2)認識相關的醫療團隊服務與介入;3)認識相關的手術、齒顎矯正、心理與社會適
應等問題及處理方法;4)如何評量與處置唇腭裂與其它顏面畸型造成的溝通障礙;5) 唇腭
裂與其他相關問題造成的言語障礙之訓練方法。

The purpose of this course: 1) To teach the physiological and anatomical development of cleft lip

and palate and other facial deformities, as well as related genetic diseases and syndromes; 2) To

understand the relevant medical team services and interventions; 3) To understand the related
surgeries, dental and jaw correction, and psychology and social adaptation and other issues and

their treatment methods; 4) How to evaluate and deal with communication barriers caused by cleft

lip and palate and other facial deformities; 5) Treatment methods for speech disorders caused by

cleft lip and palate and other related problems.

本課程希望同學能學習下述目標:1)學習唇腭裂與其它顏面畸型的生理與解剖發展及相關
遺傳性疾病與症候群;2)哪些相關的醫療團隊服務與介入;3)學習相關的手術、齒顎矯正、
心理與社會適應等問題及處理方法;4)學習唇腭裂與其它顏面畸型造成的溝通障礙與評量、
處置方法;5)相關言語障礙包含代償性構音之訓練方法。

This course hopes that students can learn the following goals: 1) Learn the physiological and

anatomical development of cleft lip and palate and other facial deformities and related genetic

diseases and syndromes; 2) What are the relevant medical team services and interventions; 3)

Learn related surgeries, Problems and treatment methods such as dental and jaw correction,

psychological and social adaptation; 4) Learning about communication barriers caused by cleft lip

and palate and other facial deformities and their evaluation and treatment methods; 5) Training

methods for related speech disorders including compensatory articulation.
