4. During unpacking of the wooden packing
box, workers must use safety hand gloves. After

d S unpacking, nails to be bent and wooden cases


to be scrapped. Personnel to be allowed to go

full-body safety harness.
5. During dismantling of equipment, the

V equipment must be securely held after


removal of all tightening bolts to prevent
toppling over of the equipment.

Cable is to becut using hacksaw. Grinding
machine must not be used for this purpose.
4. Choose socket/ferrules according to the
cable cross- sectional area. Use hydraulic
pliers for crimping of sockets. It must be

ensured that fingers are not placed inside the
tool while carrying out the crimping activity. In

S O case of using a straight-through kit for cable


jointing, please refer to the instruction manual
provided with the kit.

l i d 5. Use various insulation tapes in the correct


order. It must beensured that the socket must

V a be insulated properly at the place where the


socket is pressed over the conductor.
6. The socket must then be tightened with
bolts using thecorrect spanners.
