A) Talk to a partner.

1. If you have a problem that you need to talk about, do you talk to a friend or to a member
of your family? Why?
Well, if it’s a small problem and I can know how to solve it, maybe I keep it for myself or can
talk about it to a friend. Instead of, if it’s about a big problem I will talk it to my mom ‘cause
she’s the person that I can trust anytime

2. Do you think that men find it more difficult than women to talk about their problems?
Why (not)?
Yes, I think that, because in the society we have stupid gender norms, and express your
feelings is known more for the things that doing the women than men. So, it turns a bit difficult
for them to talk about their problems and how they’re feeling about that, they take the
decision to keep it for theirself.

meaning.

Get Advice: when a person gives you recommendations about something that you’re asking.

I am Having second thoughts: it means that you’re not sure about something and you’re
reconsidering about the decision you took.

Difficult to get on with: It means that is hard for someone to have a good relationship with
other people.

D) Talk to a partner. Which piece of advice do you agree with most for each
problem? Do you have any other suggestions?

I’m agree with the 3rd advice, it’s a good recommendation express how we feel about
something, and in this case, he’s not feeling well about to know his girlfriend’s sister because
he can’t form a good relationship with her.
