1 Corinthians 15:12-20 II. OUR FAITH IS WELL-ROUNDED.

12 Ngayon, kung ipinangangaral naming si Cristo'y muling nabuhay, ano't sinasabi

ng ilan sa inyo na hindi bubuhaying muli ang mga patay?
13 Kung ito'y totoo, lilitaw na hindi muling binuhay si Cristo.
14 At kung si Cristo'y hindi muling binuhay, walang kabuluhan ang aming
pangangaral at walang katuturan ang inyong pananampalataya.
15 Kung magkagayon, lilitaw na kami'y mga bulaang saksi ng Diyos. Sapagkat
pinatotohanan namin na muling binuhay ng Diyos si Cristo ngunit lilitaw na hindi ito
totoo, kung talagang di bubuhaying muli ang mga patay.
16 Kung hindi bubuhaying muli ang mga patay, hindi rin muling binuhay si Cristo.
17 At kung hindi muling binuhay si Cristo, kayo'y hindi pa nahahango sa inyong mga
kasalanan, at walang katuturan ang inyong pananampalataya.
18 Hindi lamang iyan, lilitaw pa na ang lahat ng namatay na nananalig kay Cristo ay
napahamak.
19 Kung ang pag-asa natin kay Cristo ay para sa buhay na ito lamang, tayo na ang
pinakakawawa sa lahat ng tao.
20 Ngunit ang totoo, si Cristo'y muling binuhay bilang katibayan na muling
bubuhayin ang mga patay.
1 Corinthians 15:14
At kung si Cristo'y hindi muling binuhay, walang kabuluhan ang aming pangangaral
at walang katuturan ang inyong pananampalataya.
A. Because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ there is someone we can trust
absolutely.
B. His death proves His love for us, and the resurrection proves His power over
every enemy of life.
"JESUS IS ALIVE TO BE TRUSTED"
Galatians 2:20
At kung ako ma'y buhay hindi na ako ang nabubuhay kundi si Cristo ang nabubuhay
sa akin. At habang ako'y nasa daigdig, namumuhay ako sa pananalig sa Anak ng
Diyos na umibig sa akin at nag-alay ng kanyang buhay para sa akin.

III. THE APOSTLES PREACH WHAT IS TRUE.

THE RESURRECTION OF CHRIST THAT BENEFITS MANKIND
A. Because of resurrection, the Apostles preach what is true. They are not false
INTRODUCTION: witnesses about God. They are true.

RESURRECTION IV. WE ARE TO BE ENVIED.

- Anastasis (Greek)
- the concept of coming back to life after death.
- the state of one risen from the dead.
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was raised from the dead.
After dying for our sins, He was resurrected.
The Bible also teaches that all of us shall one day be raised bodily from the grave.
This will take place when Jesus comes back to the earth.
A. Since Christ has been raised and is alive and reigns as King forever, all our
obedience, all our love, all our self-denial is not just "not to be pitied" but positively
enviable.
2 Corinthians 4:17
Ang bahagya at panandaliang kapighatiang dinaranas ko ngayon ay magbubunga ng

Hindi lamang iyan, lilitaw pa na ang lahat ng namatay na nananalig kay Cristo ay
napahamak.

A. Because Christ is risen, those who have fallen asleep in Him (those who have died
in faith) have not perish. They are alive.

B. They will live forever and will enter into the joy of their Master.

CONCLUSION:

Raising Jesus from the dead, God gave us:

1. Forgiveness,
2. A friend to count on,
3. Guidance and unchanging truth,
4. A life that is not pitiable but enviable,
5. And everlasting joy that will not be ended by death.
