2. Course Objectives

After undergoing this course, the participants will be able to:

 Understand the basic concept of operations management in various


organisations.
 Assess systems in organizations that focus on quality, productivity and
continuous improvement.
 Comprehend the role of OM in creating and enhancing a firm’s competitive
advantages.
 Analyze business process to uncover problems and improvement
opportunities.

Late Submission
Assessment tasks submitted after the due date, without prior approval/arrangement, will be not
