Greetings:

1. Ladies and Gentlemen, it is with great pleasure and pride that Sainik
School Amaravathinagar welcomes you to the Passing Out Parade of
the 62nd Premiers. Today, we gather to celebrate the achievements and
hard work of our cadets as they prepare to embark on a new chapter in
their lives.

In a short while, you will witness a spectacular parade by our cadets,


showcasing their discipline, skills, and dedication. This parade is not just
a display of military precision, but also a reflection of the values and
ethos that define Sainik School Amaravathinagar.

2. The reviewing officer for today's parade is Air Commodore, Vikas


Wahi, VSM., Commandant, Air Force Administrative College,
Coimbatore, a distinguished officer whose presence adds to the
significance of this event. We are honoured to have him as our chief
guest and are confident that his guidance and encouragement will
inspire our cadets to greater heights.

3. As we witness the Passing Out Parade today, let us not only applaud
the achievements of our cadets but also acknowledge the dedication
and hard work of the staff, and the trainers, who have guided and
supported them throughout their journey. Together, they have helped
shape these young minds into responsible and confident individuals
ready to serve their nation with pride.

Once again, welcome to the Passing Out Parade of the 62nd Premiers.
We hope you enjoy the parade and share in the pride and joy of this
momentous occasion.

Instructions for the Parents:

1. Ladies and gentlemen, we kindly request you to remain seated until


the conclusion of the program.

2. Please ensure that your cell phones are switched off during the
parade.

3. Restrooms are conveniently located on the left side of the galleries for
your convenience.

4. We urge you to take responsibility for your personal belongings and


ensure their safety throughout the event. The school administration will
not be liable for any loss or damage.

5. Let us maintain cleanliness and hygiene by utilizing the designated


dustbins for disposing of waste.

6. Parents are requested to register their names with the School


Registration Team and obtain their ID cards.

7. Please ensure that you carry your ID cards while on the campus
premises.

8. We are delighted to extend an invitation for a High Tea session with


our esteemed Chief Guest. Following the parade, we kindly request all
parents of Class XII to gather at the Parents’ Meeting Point (In front of

the volleyball Gallery) for a delightful tea reception. Parents other than
class XII, will move to Cadets’ Mess Lawn for tea.

Introduction

4. Ladies and Gentlemen, Sainik School Amaravathinagar, located in


Tamil Nadu, India, was established on July 16, 1962. It is one of the 33
Sainik Schools in the country and is affiliated with the Central Board of
Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. The school was founded with
the objective of preparing young boys academically, physically, and
mentally for entry into the National Defence Academy (NDA) and other
defence academies to become officers in the Indian Armed Forces.

5. Sainik School Amaravathinagar stands as an inspiration for


excellence in the dominion of military-focused education in India. Since
its establishment, the school has consistently maintained a reputation for
producing disciplined, physically fit, and morally upright individuals, who
go on to serve the nation, with distinction in various capacities,
particularly in the armed forces.

Passing out Parade

1. The Passing out Parade (POP), at Sainik School Amaravathinagar, is


a grand and significant event, that marks the culmination of years of hard
work, discipline, and training for the passing out cadets. It is a proud
moment for the cadets, their families, and the entire school community
as they witness the transformation of young boys and girls into confident
and disciplined individuals ready to serve their country.

2. The Passing out Parade, is a display of military precision, and
discipline, with the cadets showcasing their marching skills, drill
movements, and physical fitness. It is a testament to the rigorous
training they have undergone, during their time at the school.

3. Beyond the display of military skills, the Passing out Parade, is also
an emotional moment that signifies the end of a chapter and the
beginning of a new journey, for the passing out cadets. It is a time for
reflection, gratitude, and celebration as they prepare, to embark on, new
adventures and challenges in their lives.

4. This year, the 62nd batch of cadets, who have completed seven years
of rigorous training, are preparing to pass out. These cadets belong to
the historic lineages of Chera, Chola, Pandya, and Pallava. They have
not only completed their CBSE Class 12 examinations but have also
excelled in the NCC B certificate examination. Additionally, they have
successfully cleared the SSB interview and are eagerly awaiting to join
the prestigious Defence Academies.

About today’s Parade

1. Ladies and Gentlemen, this year, the Passing out Parade will witness
the participation of 200 cadets from classes IX to XII. The parade will
commence with the march past of the Chera and Chola House
contingent, showcasing their impeccable drill and discipline. Following
them will be the passing out cadets, the highlight of the event, as they
bid farewell to their alma mater, displaying the skills and values instilled
in them during their tenure at the school.

2.The Passing out contingent will be a sight to behold, representing the


culmination of years of hard work, dedication, and transformation. These
cadets, who have completed their training and are ready to embark on

their journey towards serving the nation, will march with pride and honor,
a testament to their commitment and resolve.

3.Following the Passing out contingent, will be the Pandya and Pallava
contingent, adding to the grandeur of the parade. These cadets,
representing their respective houses with pride, will showcase their skills
and discipline, adding to the overall spectacle of the event.

4.The sequence of the marching contingents symbolizes the unity and


diversity of India, with cadets from different backgrounds and regions
coming together to celebrate their achievements, and commemorate
their time at Sainik School Amaravathinagar.

During Marching

1.Ladies and Gentlemen, today's parade is led by Parade Commander,


Cadet Kanish Khanna, an NCC Senior Under Officer, who has shown
exemplary leadership throughout his tenure at Sainik School
Amaravathinagar. His dedication and commitment serve as an
inspiration to his fellow cadets.

2. The Chera and Chola House contingent is under the command of


Cadet Shashank Naik, who has displayed exceptional leadership skills
and has been instrumental in maintaining the high standards of his
house.

3. Leading the Premier Contingent -1 is Cadet Akilan, the school


Adjutant, whose unwavering determination and dedication have earned
him the respect of his peers and instructors alike. He epitomizes the
values of Sainik School Amaravathinagar and is a shining example for
others to follow.

4. Heading the Premier Contingent -2 is Cadet Rohit Raj, a disciplined
and focused individual who has demonstrated outstanding leadership
qualities. His ability to motivate and inspire others makes him a natural
choice for this prestigious role.

5. The Pandya and Pallava Contingent is led by Cadet AV Akash, who


has shown exceptional leadership abilities and has been instrumental in
maintaining the high standards of their respective contingents. Their
dedication and commitment to excellence are truly commendable.

6. Today, we stand amidst a spectacle of discipline and precision, a


display of excellence, exemplified by the cadets who have just marched
past this dais. What you have witnessed here today is not merely a
performance; it is a culmination of relentless dedication, rigorous
training, and unwavering commitment to the highest standards of drill.

These cadets, adorned in their uniforms with pride, have not reached
this pinnacle of perfection by mere chance. They have laboured
tirelessly, sacrificing countless hours of sweat and perseverance to
attain the level of mastery you see before you. Each step, each
movement, is a testament to their unwavering resolve and unwavering
dedication.

7. Let us, therefore, join together in a resounding round of applause, a


gesture of appreciation for their exemplary display of discipline and
precision.

Today, as we celebrate this magnificent parade, let us also acknowledge


the invaluable contributions of those who have shaped these cadets into
the fine young men, they are today. To the cadets, the Drill Instructors,
the NCC, and the ANOs, we extend our deepest gratitude for a job
exceptionally well done.
