ASSURE MODEL INSTRUCTIONAL PLAN

A. ANALYZE LERNERS
Generals Characteristics: The class is a group of seventh grade students, composed of 23 girls and 18 boys, 41
in total. They come from a moderate socio-economic background. Many of their parents work in the government
and private sectors. Exposure on demonstrative pronouns is vital to the students as it guides them what to use
in painting specific noun or pronoun or what pronoun to be used to point specific people or things. This topic
should be given so that they can understand and apply in the future.

Learning Styles: The student exhibit varied learning styles. They accommodate visual, auditory, and kinesthetic
learners.
B. STATE OBJECTIVES
The students will be able to:
a. use demonstrative pronouns in a sentence.
b. identify what demonstrative pronoun is to be used.
c. presents a drama, a song, a poem, or an essay with the presence of demonstrative pronouns in it.
C. SELECT METHODS, MEDIA, AND MATERIALS
Methods: Teacher uses the courseware to give input on what he or she is going to teach the students.
The students answer questions and quiz to ensure they have achieved the learning objectives.
Media: Used of pictures
Materials: Flowers, ball pen, bags, laptop, projector and white screen.

D. UTILIZE METHODS, MEDIA, AND MATERIALS


Environmental Preparation: Pupils sit according to their classroom
 The teacher will discuss what is demonstrative pronouns with an example using the items: flowers, ball
pen, and bags.
E. REQUIRE LEARNER PARTICITPATION
 The teacher gives an example of demonstrative pronouns using the items.
 The students will present their own example, be it in drama, poem, song, or essay form.
 The students will be given enough time to answer the given fill-in the blanks test.
F. EVALUATE AND REVISE
Learner Evaluation:
The following areas are evaluated.
 Pupils’ responses
 The completion of the task
Evaluation of Methods and Media: Pupils’ discipline and obedience during the activities are evaluated for future
reference.
Revision: The teacher and the students reflect on the lesson to improve both teaching and learning outcome in
the future lesson.
