Steps to turn off or on password protected sharing in

Windows 10:
Step 1: Enter sharing in the search box and choose Manage advanced sharing settings
from the result.

Step 2: Click the down arrow on the right of All Networks to expand the settings.
Step 3: Select Turn off password protected sharing tap save changes.

Step 4:

Once again open the Windows 10 start menu by pressing the windows key on your
keyboard. This time type the words Control Panel and press enter.

Step 5:

Click the link titled View network status and tasks under the Network and Internet
heading.
Step 6:

Click the link on the left of the window labeled Change adapter settings.
Step 7:

You might have more than one Internet connection listed in this window. If this is the
case you'll need to determine which one is your connection to the Internet. Once you
have found it, right click on your network adapter and choose properties to open up the
properties window of this Internet connection.
Step 8:

Find the option of Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click on it.

Then Set IP address 192.6.94.20 and Subnet mask 255.255.255.0


How to shear folder on network:-

1. As mentioned above, use an administrator account to log on to your Windows 10


PC.
2. Locate and right-click the folder that you want to share.
3. From the context menu, click Properties.

4. From the folder’s properties box that opens up, go to the Sharing tab.
5. From the displayed options, click Share.
6. On the File Sharing box, in the available field, type the name of the user or group
with whom you want to share the folder.
Note: The user or group with whom you want to share the folder must exist in your
computer. If it doesn’t, Windows 10 displays a message indicating that since there is no
user or group by the typed name, you cannot share the folder with them.

7. Click Add.
8. Once added to the list, you can click the down arrow for the user or group under
the Permission Level column.
9. Choose the permission level that you want to set for the user/group on the shared
folder. (Default is Read.)
10. Click Done to share the folder.
11. On the next box, note the share path for the folder from under its name displayed
in the Individual Items list.

Note: This path must be used by the remote users to locate and access the shared folder
over the network.
12. Click Done.

Another, more advanced way of sharing a folder in Windows 10 is by adding the users or
groups and setting the permissions more granularly. You can do so by following the steps
given below:

1. Follow the above instructions from steps 1 to 5.


2. From the displayed options in the Sharing tab of the folder’s properties box, click
the Advanced Sharing button from under the Advanced Sharing section.
3. On the Advanced Sharing box, check the Share this folder checkbox.
4. Once done, click the Permissions button.
5. On the next box that opens up, click to select the user or group from the Group or
user names list.

Note: You can also add a different user or group to the list by clicking the Add button.

6. From the permissions list in the lower section, check or uncheck the checkboxes
to set the desired permission level for the selected user or group.

7. Click OK when done and close all the opened boxes and windows.
On Machine side
1) Connect LAN cable from Windows 10 PC to Ethernet Switch inside machine
2) Then switch off software by pressing Alt+Ctrl+Shift+X
3) Then click on start menu and click on RUN
4) Then type \\192.6.94.20

5) Then following window will be open.

5) Then right click on shear folder and select create Shortcut.


6) Shortcut will be created on desktop.
7) Copy the shortcut from desktop and paste in “E” drive.
