Child Health

Under Home Based New born care scheme , ASHA will Conduct

-> Six Visits in the Case of Institutional Delivery (Days 3rd,
7th,14th , 21st , 28th & 42nd)
->Seven visits in the case of Home Deliveries (Days 1st, 3rd,
7th,14th, 21st, 28th & 42nd)
Under Home Based Young Child (HBYC) Programme, ASHA will Rs.250/- per case
14 carry out quarterly home visits and ensure exclusive and (Rs. 50/- per visit
continued breast feeding, adequate complementary feeding, age for quarterly visits
appropriate immunization and early child hood development. at 3rd , 6th , 9th,
(The quarterly home visits schedule for low birth weight babies, 12th and 15th
SNCU discharge bebies will now be harmonized with the new months)
HBYC schedule).
For ensuring that every child aged 6 to 59 months of her
Rs. 100/- per
15 catchment area has received at least 8 doses of IFA in a month
ASHA per month
under NIPI supplementation.

For mobilizing and ensuring every eligible child ( 1 to 19 yrs Rs. 100/- per
16 out of school, not registered in AWC and non-enrolled ) is ASHA per round
administered Albendazole on National Deworming day for 2 rounds in a
year.
For prophylactic distribution of ORS to families with under five
17 children during Intensified Diarrhea Control fortnight (IDCF) Re. 1/- per ORS
packet

For reporting death of infant (Since Birth up to 1 year) within Rs. 100/- per
