One of the most important things you can do to influence the success of your day is to identify how you are spending your time and do your
best to fill your day with activities and tasks that feel good to you. The exercise below will help you identify and energy rich activities, as well
as energy poor activities and how to fill your day with the strengths that help you expand.

Mark each task as a

STRENGTH or a SKILL

Once you have your tasks written in the center column you want to categorize them as either a strength or a skill. Ideally, your day will primarily be filled with
strength activities, so when you have one or two skills to perform, you have the energy available to do so.

Below identify your top three strengths and your top three skills. You want a minimum of two strengths a day in your calendar. Your top three skills need to be
given to other people to perform or transformed to a strength.

Here’s an example: Writing is a skill of mine. It's something that I'm good at but it drains me and is challenging. Speaking on the other hand is a strength. When I need to write, I dictate
into software. It writes for me and then I simply edit. This way I’ve converted writing from a skill into that strength.
