Objective of the Project

General Objectives

The main objective of the project is to reduce the number of plastic bottles

that are disposed of and make an innovation out of plastic bottles to support

Barangay Dayap, Calauan, Laguna in terms of handling and recycling waste

plastic bottles.

Specific Objectives:

1. Developing a device that is capable of:

a. Displaying the temperature of the heater using Liquid-crystal

Displays (LCD).

b. Creating Polyethylene terephthalate bottle filament with the

diameter of 1.75mm to 3.00mm.

c. controlling for device function such as start, stop, and

temperature.

d. When the device reaches the last bottle, it will automatically turn

off.

2. Evaluate Arduino-based polyethylene terephthalate bottle filament using

International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 25010 External and

Internal Quality with the following characteristics; Functional Suitability,

Performance/ Efficiency, Compatibility, Usability, Reliability, Security,

Maintainability, and Portability.
