STS-ASSIGNMENT
1. What is the importance of your drawing in your daily life?
- The importance of my invention is a home that provided a set of spaces that would enable
the members of each household to engage in a wide range of 'everyday activities. Space
gives us the opportunity to enjoy a rounded life – to relax, play, cook, eat, study, sleep,
bathe and socialise comfortably in a safe and private environment over which we have
reasonable control. It is the key to accessibility, adaptability and choice, and central to our
identity, wellbeing and sense of belonging. Well-configured space is empowering and
enabling – it allows families to do things together and individuals to have time alone.

2. What are some inventions that are really needed in the development of our society? give 5

 The wheel is an important invention. Without it, things would be really different.
Wheels can be used for transportation. For example, before the wheel was invented,
people had to walk, carry very heavy things, and had to use a boat to get over seas.

 Telephones made it easier for businesses to communicate with each other. It cut down
on the amount of time it took to send messages to each other. As the telephone
network grew, it also expanded the area that a business could reach.

 The electric light bulb has been called the most important invention since man-made
fire. The light bulb helped to establish social order after sundown, extended the
workday well into the night, and allowed us to navigate and travel safely in the dark.
Without the light bulb, there would be no nightlife.

 Even though some people use the internet for bad purposes, the internet has advanced
aspects of society such as giving people access to information, increasing

Nowaday, online banking is practically the norm.

 Computers benefit the business and personal world by being able to do the following
more efficiently: buying and selling products, communicating throughout the world,
enhancing our knowledge, job influences, entertainment, research, and paying bills.
