body wash.
The body wash is taken every two days a week, on the other days Paul takes a
shower, a longer bath in which he needs to go to the shower so he can be washed.
The equipment used is: Towels for the face and hands, Towel for the body and towel
for private parts. These towels are used to wash the body and another one to dry it.
Another item is the water container to moisten the towels. Body moisturizing creams
are also used after bathing. Clothes such as: Pants, shirt, dress, underwear, socks
and shoes. All clothes are chosen by Paul and changed whenever he asks for
something he prefers.
First I wash my hands and put on protective equipment. Then, I place the clothes
that the client left separately in order on the bed so that he can see them and
choose, or not, to change them. Paul (not his real name) He is 78 years old and
always likes to leave his clothes out in the morning, but I always check and inform
him if I need to change any of his clothes. Today we had a body wash, not a longer
bath because he needed to go to his weekly visit to the doctor. After sorting the
clothes, let's move on to the items needed for the body wash. I separate 3 small
towels for the face, body and private parts, as well as a container for water that is
always at the temperature Paul prefers. Each part of the procedure is always
explained, such as; start of the bath, the place that will be washed and whether the
temperature is good. always communicating each step to Paul.

Paul is always responsible for choosing his clothes, always differentiating what is
best for him depending on his day. He himself removes his clothes for the shower
and separates them, informing me when he will wash them. When he needs to apply
a different cream for his legs, he explains to me how I should apply it following the
doctors' instructions. He always helps me put the towels out to dry after using them .
Body wash
I felt good because I'm already used to Paul in his daily activities
It's good to be able to help Paul get ready because we have time to talk and I
can check if he's really okay.
I felt very confident
It could have been checked better if it was cleaner.
In the same situation I would place steak closer so that Paul can support
himself and get up more easily.
walk.
an exercise lasting around 20 to 30 minutes where we take a walk around the courts
next to Paul's house. This activity helps improve your blood circulation.
The materials used were: specific shoes for walking and a support cart.
He can walk the courts and choose the path we are going to take. Paul stops us
sometimes to talk to neighbors and see the gardens of the houses. He really likes
going to the supermarket to buy something he needs.
