 Greetings
Good morning class, Good morning, Ma’am!

 Prayer
Kindly stand up for the opening prayer. (Rabina will lead the opening prayer.)
Rabina, kindly lead the prayer.

Do we have any absentees today class?
(The class secretary checks the attendance.)
Lanzaderas, kindly list down the names of the
absentees and give it to me later.

 Classroom Set-up
Before we start class, please check your
tables and chairs to pick-up pieces of paper
and arrange your chairs properly.

Before we proceed to our new topic, Let us have a
short review first.

Who can recall about the lesson yesterday? (Students raising their hands to answer)
Very good class! It’s all about noun.
What about noun?
Noun- is a word that names a person, place ,or thing.
Since you already mastered about the noun, let us
have our new topic today class.

C. Motivation
Before we dive into the formal discussion, lets watch
a nursery rhymes song, but before that, I’m going to
ask you first what is your favorite rhymes, and why do
you think rhymes are fun?

Very good!

This nursery rhyme is Baa Baa Black Sheep. I’m


encouraging you to sing along if you know the song or
clap along to the rhythm.

“Thank you for participating. Today, we will go on an


exciting expedition to explore rhyming words, just like
the ones you heard in the rhyme.

“At this point, I’d like to ask you a questions.”

“Define rhyming words in simple terms”

see if those are correct as we move forward to this
discussion.”

“"Rhyming words are words that have the same


ending. For example ‘cat’ rhymes with ‘hat’ because
they both end with the '-at' sound. Another pair is
'dog' and 'log,' where both end with the '-og' sound."

listen to. They are commonly used in poems, songs,
and nursery rhymes to create rhythm and enhance
meaning.

E. Application
“Now let’s apply what we’ve learned. I will divide you
into 4 groups and I will give you rhyming word cards.
Each group will identify rhyming words on your cards
and create sentences or short poems using those
words. Afterward, each group share their creations
with the class. Understand?
