Detailed Lesson Plan in English 1

I. Objectives:
At the end of the 30 minute discussion, the Grade 1-Gumamela pupils are
expected to:
a. Distinguish basic categories of familiar words.
b. Sort/classify familiar words into basic categories; and
c. Value the importance of sorting and classifying things.

“What is sort? And classify?”


Sort means to separate according to
colors, shapes, foods and etc.
Classify means to identify by dividing
into classes or to categorize by putting
all objects under their corresponding
color, shapes, foods and etc.
