To Whom It May Concern

Over the last 3 years I have had the pleasure of getting to know 2Elmer Gonzalez , an
extraordinary young man with great potential. He was a student in my World and the U.S.History
classes in his sophomore and junior year. Consequently he earned an "B+"
" In the four semesters in which he was enrolled in history with me

In addition to his studies, Elmer has been involved irI various non-curricular activities. He has
been a member of the Gauchos Track and Field and Boys Soccer teams, respectively. He
participated as a varsity athlete in his 1st and 2nd year of high school. He has also been a
cornerstone on the bus soccer team and has competed on the Varsitv level the last two years. I
also was able to coach Elmer over his sophomore and junior years - an extraordinary
collaborative laver who was determined to succeed with his team through hard work

Bryan is a critical thinker. always a hard-working and reliable young man. He is extremely
creative and works hard at the things that are important to him, whether that be: academics,
volunteer service, clubs and personal relationships. He is comfortable with most adults as well as
her own peer group, both male and female. Elmer is always a team player and not only will help
others when it is needed, but he is also the first to engage in any activity when others stand even
at the risk of seeming foolish. He is attentive and engaged, always asking questions or offering
suggestions. Elmer accepts constructive criticism and does whatever It takes to adjust and
improve his work

After completing high school Elmer envisions himself attending a university while playing
soccer at Merced College then CSU Fresno. He plans to major in criminal justice and after thal
pursue a career as a almornia lionwav patrol officer

Although Elmers abilities are numerous, what makes him such a wonderful person Is hIS
personality. He is
a true young man who is mature and respectful to all individuals. In the years
to come I am certain Bryan Will
